In the Confluence Analytics team, we ingest millions of events every day and use this tool to power a plethora of features that make Confluence smarter, empowering users with their own data. All with sub-second query latency. In this talk, we’ll dive into how Druid serves as the backbone of our tech stack and how Druid’s robust set of features such as lookups have allowed us to perform complex ingestion tasks. We will also be covering Atlassian’s plans to incorporate Druid’s latest developments in SQL based ingestion to optimize our backfill workflow.
