Session 1:
Apache Druid: Version 29 & Beyond
The community recently celebrated the release of Apache Druid 29, the culmination of almost eighteen months of hard work and collaboration across the community. Along with improvements to SQL and operational efficiencies comes a new query engine for ingestion and query execution: MSQ. In this session, hear how Druid has evolved over the last year, and about Imply’s planned contributions to future versions of Apache Druid.

Peter Marshall (https://www.petermarshall.io) is an award-winning speaker who leads community developer relations at Imply (http://imply.io/) and is a long-time contributor of videos, tutorials, and documentation on Apache Druid. He has worked with adopters and users of Apache Druid for 5 years. He has over 20 years architecture experience and has a BA (hons) degree in Theology and Computer Studies from the University of Birmingham.
